I go by the name of Vic Grace on the internet, it is not my real name but a translation of it. I live in the Northern Cariboo region of British Columbia in a very tiny village situated beside the largest natural lake in British Columbia. I live outside the village about 3000 ft above sea level surrounded by wilderness for many miles. Many houses in the village are vacant now, at one time there was a thriving copper mine across the lake and the village was built to accommodate people working there, but since the mine closed in 1988 many people have left as there is no work here, but some retired folk are moving in slowly.
In this blog I relate stories of the wildlife that live around me, some memories, observations, travels and computing experiences plus other topics as they occur to me. I hope you enjoy the blog and I would be delighted if you leave a comment or contact me by e-mail and I will try to get back to you and visit me at my main blog Cariboo Ponderer’s Pot of Gold

How strange! I stumbled across you in someone’s blog roll. Your name will be my name when I get married in a few months time. I’m curious, why did you choose Vic Grace as your web name?

I grew up in N.MI and N.Ontario. I migrated to Oklahoma in ‘89 after I graduated college to marry my husband.
I miss Canada somethin’ fierce! I still have looneys in my piggybank.
Glad I stumbled here from Davids, youve got a great little piece of the net here……..
